Tool Wizard

Privacy Policy

Tool Wizard by DimSoft Solutions provides developer and text utilities on the website, browser extension and app. This page describes the data handling implemented in these applications. Data handling differs by platform and deployment configuration.

Tool inputs and processing

The currently active tools transform, validate, count or generate data within the application runtime. They do not call a separate tool-processing API. However, the website uses Blazor Interactive Auto: during server-interactive sessions, input and UI events are transmitted to the Tool Wizard server for processing. When running in WebAssembly, processing takes place in your browser. Do not assume that everything you enter stays on your device.

The extension runs its tools locally in the browser using JavaScript, WebAssembly and .NET resources included in its installed package. It does not load remote executable code or send tool inputs or outputs to a processing service. The MAUI app runs shared tool logic in its app runtime. The active tool implementations do not save input or output to the favorites or recent-tools lists. Avoid entering passwords, access tokens, personal data or other confidential information.

Favorites, recent tools and theme

Favorites store tool links. Recently used stores tool links and last-used timestamps, not your general browsing history or pasted tool contents. Website and extension preferences use localStorage. The Android app stores favorites and recent tools in device preferences; other MAUI hosts use WebView localStorage. Theme selection uses localStorage in the browser or WebView. These preferences are not implemented as an account or cross-device synchronization service.

You can remove favorites with the favorite controls. To remove locally saved preferences, clear the site's storage in your browser, the extension's local data, or the app's data using your device settings. Clearing website data does not remove separate extension or app data, downloaded files, clipboard contents or messages you sent to support.

Clipboard and files

Copy actions write the selected output to your clipboard when requested; the extension does not read your clipboard automatically or request clipboard-read permission. File controls read only files you choose and save generated files when used; the extension does not scan your filesystem or upload chosen files. Browser downloads and Android file saving use their respective host facilities. Clipboard contents and saved files are then subject to your browser, operating system and other applications; clear or delete them there when needed.

Website analytics, advertising and support

When the website hostname matches its configured production hostname, it loads Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google AdSense and a script from analytics.toolwizard.link. In a Production environment it also loads the configured Chatwoot support widget. These services can receive network and usage information, such as your IP address, browser information and visited pages, and may use cookies or similar storage. Messages you send through the support widget are sent to its configured service.

The website is therefore not an entirely offline or third-party-free service. Browser cookie and tracking settings can limit some third-party activity but are not a Tool Wizard consent or opt-out control. The extension and MAUI entry pages do not include these website analytics, advertising or support scripts. The website and MAUI entry pages reference Google Fonts; loading those resources sends network requests to Google. The extension does not reference Google Fonts or include website telemetry; its fonts and UI assets use local resources or system fonts. Its own entry pages and tool processing work without an internet connection. Opening external links or sending email leaves the extension and requires the relevant external service.

Contact and external links

The Contact page provides email and external social links, not an on-site contact form. Email you send includes the address and content you choose to provide and is handled by the email services involved. External links, app stores and third-party services have their own privacy practices. Do not include sensitive tool inputs in support messages.

Your choices and privacy requests

Use the Contact page for privacy questions or requests concerning information you have sent to us. Rights to access, correction or deletion depend on applicable law. Clearing local preferences does not delete information held by support, email, hosting or third-party services. No specific retention period or guarantee of anonymous tracking is stated here.
